[2012-08-02]
- Patch 2 for PDF Explorer 1.5.0.60 released.

It's a patch release, so most of the changes are bug fixes. There is also a new "My Scripts" sample script, to exemplify the usage of a new functionality added to the PDFE object, the access to the document pages size.

One of the bugs this version fixes requires the re-indexation of all the files in the database. This is needed because the format used to save the modification and creation date metadata fields has changed. This change is needed because PDFE now show these dates in local date format, when these fields have time-zone information. Shown dates will be wrong if the old values are left in use.
The best method to re-index all the files is to clear the database contents and scan all the files again, using the usual DiskTree scan mode. To clear the database, open the database editor, menu Database>Edit, make sure the root node is selected and click the delete button, confirming the intention.

Take note that if you have edited metadata for files that are in read only supports, such as CD/DVD-ROMs, you need to export these edited fields to a .csv file using the grid export tool, menu File>Export grid fields, so you can later import them again, as these fields data is only present in the database.
