Thanks for the sample files. I've put online an updated version of the 7-zip32.dll (get it from the updates functionality, menu help>CheckForUpdates>CheckNow), that fixes the issue with the 7-zip archive.
Tar and gz support, as mentioned early, is working just for me. But I'm going to include it in the next public release.
