Bug when renaming titles from copy

Just started happening but I am gettting a warning "Field content is not conformant with field defined data type" when copying text and using to rename title. Doesn't happen all the time but is inconsistent - happens even when there are no special characters but just straight text. Sometimes allows renaming to occur after hitting "OK" but can also result in the program freezing.

Uninstalled and reinstalled and the problem went away.......should have done that to begin with.

You probably created a custom grid layout,

and have set the Title column data type to a specific, other than generic, type?
Uninstalling the program worked because that custom grid got deleted, but there is no need to uninstall the program to do that. For 99% of the problems that can occur, there is always a way to fix it, without uninstall.
