Multi-Monitor
« on: May 26, 2010, 12:19:06 AM »
Hi,

Before I suggest something, I wanted to say: Great program!  :)

Ok so I use 2 monitors: 1 monitor (in portrait mode) to view PDFs and another as my primary to display PDF Explorer or a MS Word doc I am writing or something else.  Just by itself this makes a huge difference to productivity.

What would be fantastic is a way to have PDF Explorer control the viewer on monitor 1.  In this way I can get my list of PDFs on the grid and easily work through them, adding info as I go, renaming etc

Thanks!

Charlie

Controlling an external, stand-alone, application is not easy. To achieve similar functionality, I suppose I could add the possibility to dock and undock the PDFView tabsheet. This way, when floating in its own window, could be freely moved and resized.
I like the idea and I'm going to make some tests. This will brake some code, that correctly relies on the fact the PDFInfo and PDFView tabsheet are not visible at same time, but nothing that can't be worked out ;)
