I am now expanding use to others in the company. A group of people need to work off of the same custom field definitions and database. I do not see the location to define a shared database. What is that setting?

Configure and keep running the web interface (http://www.rttsoftware.com/Manuals/Index.htm?pageURL=PDFE/English/WebInterface.htm) web server at the "server" PC. Users can access the standard or advanced (http://www.rttsoftware.com/forum.php?dsturl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.rttsoftware.com%2Fforum%2Findex.php%3Ftopic%3D322) client interfaces, using any web browser. Clients can also have a local PDF Explorer instance and access the remote DB using the DBRemote scan mode (http://www.rttsoftware.com/Manuals/Index.htm?pageURL=PDFE/English/DBRemote.htm).
