Title: Show bookmarks when PDF opened
Post by: LukeV on February 23, 2012, 05:53:52 AM
Hi Rui,

Another idea for you.

Is it possible to provide an option on the merging/appending tool to make the created bookmarks show by default when you open the created PDF, rather than having to click on the bookmark tab?
I believe you can set this in the "open properties" within Acrobat when authoring a PDF file.

Cheers,

Luke

Hi Luke,
You can do that already from the Set Open Options tool (http://www.rttsoftware.com/Manuals/STIndex.htm?pageURL=ST/English/OpenOptions.htm). Page mode, show bookmark panel option.
But yes, adding that possibility to the merge and append tools could be handy.

Thanks as always.

I hadn't even seen that tool :P
I will have play around and add the command line [PageMode=1] into my stamp Send It command.

Cheers,

Luke
