Post by: adirving on December 05, 2006, 04:23:00 PM
I want to append the created date to the file name not overide the file name completely. How do I do this? Also I want the date in the following format: MM-DD-YYYY. Thanks.

Currently there's no way to do this but your request is now in the TODO list and probably in the next release this feature is going to be available. ;)

Can't say for sure. I'm working on it but I'm having some troubles with the development of the new tool I'm going to add, the PDF-PasswordProtect. It depends of my free time.
By the way, a new entry to use the current file name is now available in the Renamer tool :)

I can't find a spot in PDF Shell to use the current file name when I rename my file...can you walk me through where this is located. Thanks.

Your request is already implemented but I have not release yet this new version, so you have to wait until I get free time to complete all the new features that I'm going to include in the build 8 release.
