Can you...
1. add a sorting function to sort the searched result?
2. let user choose result# per page?
3. view the result as a table? (like the "scangrid")

All already implemented.
Look carefully at next post attached image, screenshot of the new advanced web interface client example, a javascript based client used to demonstrate the new web interface API use.

The sort functionality as been added also to the basic web interface, with "number of results per page" a easy to add, not yet added,  feature.
