Title: Archive name column
Post by: starlight on February 08, 2009, 12:56:13 AM
Would it be possible to have a column with the name of the Archive file that the pdf file is inside? (I have a lot of files with the same name because they are in archives)
Thanks

And what to put on that column for simple, no archived, files. Leave empty ?

Right now, and as a workaround, you can enable the possibility to show the full file path on the Filename column. The archive name will show also.
Edit>Preferences|Appearance - "Show full path in the filename item", option.

Hi Thanks that kind of works .. except i have some really long path names.  It would be perfect if I could Right Align the column and mainly show the end of the path?

... or just put blank in the "Zip Name" column if they not in a zip file.

As I said, "as a workaround". I have now added the Archive column, check attached images of the next version grid layout editor.  ;)
Definition of column content align, calculated columns, and calculations (to show columns totals, or other operation on a calculation panel) are now also a  reality.
