Title: PDF Search/Index
Post by: Anonymous on January 27, 2007, 05:11:00 AM
Is there a place where the parameters of the PDF Indexing can be set. By default it is searching my hidden, system files as well.

For instance on a removable harddrive where the Recycle Bin is always hidden it is seaching that folder also.

I would like to tell it not to search these folders.

That idea has already passed my mind too, but no, currently there is not way to exclude folders from the scanning operation. Now, in the TODO list.
For now, you can use the database edit tool and remove these already indexed folders from the database. This way you exclude these files from the indirect scanning methods (DBDiskTree, DBDisk and DBSearch) has long you do not index them again using the direct scan mode DiskTree.
