Title: How do I Disable the webserver?
Post by: Anonymous on December 14, 2007, 04:14:00 PM
Hi all and thanks for your time.

To run PDFE on a Terminalserver 2003 I need to disable the webserver all in all since it is not allowed in our secure environment. How do I remove it from the menu's and how do I disable the functionality.

Maybe this should be an option during install in custom mode.

Greets,
Rob

Hi Rob,
Sorry, but no such option exists, I can work on it for next version, but you can easily disable the webserver with firewall software.

Done. In the next, at this date, to release version, v1.5 build 59, it will be possible to disable the web interface functionality, resulting in the non-installation of all the web server support files, and feature access hidden from the program GUI.
No more fear of the potential security risk the web server may transmit to users in tight security environments.
